1. Who we are

GasTheory ("we", "us", "our") is an online learning platform that provides revision content, lessons, and practice questions for gas qualifications and related exams. These Terms govern your use of the GasTheory website and any associated services (collectively, the "Service").

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users who are at least 16 years old. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the authority to agree to these Terms.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that we believe is being misused or used in breach of these Terms.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Access to premium content on GasTheory is provided on a subscription basis. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices, billing frequency, and any free trial information are shown at checkout before you confirm payment.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. For information about refunds, please see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Educational Disclaimer

GasTheory is an educational support tool. It does not replace formal training, real-world experience, or any accredited course or assessment. Successfully using GasTheory does not in itself grant any qualification, registration, or certification. You are responsible for ensuring that you meet all regulatory and assessment requirements in your jurisdiction.

7. Use of the Service

You agree that you will not:

• Share your login details with others;
• Copy, redistribute, or resell GasTheory content without our permission;
• Use the Service in a way that breaches any applicable law or regulation;
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.

8. Intellectual Property

All lessons, questions, explanations, branding, and other content on GasTheory are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for your own study and revision.

9. Availability & Changes to the Service

We aim to keep GasTheory available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, change, or remove features or content at any time to improve the Service or keep it accurate and relevant.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability in respect of any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for your most recent subscription period.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are significant, we may also provide additional notice (for example, by email or in-app notification). Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means that you accept the updated Terms.
